This was my debut series of animal drawings, inspired by the gorgeous woodland creatures I see on my walks throughout the Calder Valley in West Yorkshire.
I see squirrels on almost every walk I go on in the valley as there are so many of them, and they give themselves away most of the time by noisily scuttling along the leaves of the forest floor. Rabbits are much more difficult to spot, but if you’re patient enough to wait for them quietly, there’s a great chance of seeing one bounding along. Foxes aren’t as common where I live, but I had to include one in this series as they are so cute!
